At Shining Stars children are actively learning through hands on, age appropriate techniques.
The program at Shining Stars promotes ideas that foster a child's natural growth process. This allows each child to gain a solid and secure foundation. Children are actively learning through hands-on, age-appropriate techniques. Our curriculum is based on each child's individual needs and developmental process.
Each day your child can look forward to free play, art, sensory activities, manipulatives (for small motor skills), group time, stories, meals, music and outdoor play. We also enjoy cooking experiences pertaining to many of the themes covered. For large motor skills and social development, the children enjoy our outdoor area, which is completely fenced. It consists of various climbing equipment and slides; sand table; paint easels; basketball; golf; and baseball equipment; picnic area in addition to a new wooden climber, swings, slide and rock wall.
